HALO HVAC IoT Sensor : Wireless Temperature sensor

The wireless HALO HVAC IoT sensor for Temperature measures the ambient temperature based on a user-configurable time interval or Heartbeat. When performing a measurement, the IoT sensor momentarily energizes a thermistor in series with a precision resistor. This produces a voltage directly proportional to the temperature of the thermistor. The IoT sensor converts the analogue voltage signal to a digital value and computes the temperature measurement. This measurement is then sent to the gateway, making the data available on the HALO Dashboard or another approved data service.
